נְדוּנְיָא, נְדוּנְיָיאm. (v. נָדַן) a brides outfit, given by her father; wedding equipment. B. Mets.74b יהיב זוזי לנ׳וכ׳ paid a stipulated amount for an outfit to be delivered at the house of his daughters father-in-law; לסוף זל נ׳ in the meanwhile the value of the equipment was reduced (and the father-in-law refused to receive it for the value stipulated). Keth.54a ההוא … נ׳ לברת a man in his dying bequest defined the nature of the equipment for his daughter. Taan.24a; a. e.
